ReWired for Change Mission

ReWired for Change, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, works to empower at risk youth and families living in under-served communities through education, media and social advocacy, and intergenerational programming.

Young people who move through the revolving doors of the juvenile system are an endangered species today. They are under served by school systems that don’t have the capacity to meet their needs. We know they are suffering from the effects of physical, emotional and sexual abuse; abandonment; neglect; Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and epidemic violence. We also know that in order to change the life course for them and children to come, the approach must be holistic and deep—addressing the needs of entire communities. RWFC strives to touch mothers and fathers, grandparents and babies, and all those in between.
